So today at work, I heard that Walmart Corporate is changing Cap 2

The following changes are reportedly happening in June (ironically the same month as our upcoming inventory)

1. Cap 2 will be reduced to 5 people a day, and everyone else who wasn't selected by our TL will be transfered to a different department in the store

2. Cap 2 will be responsible for unloading the GM Truck and downstacking the DSD Grocery Truck for Cap 3

3. We will also be responsible for zoning

Is there anyone here who can confirm this information?

If it happens to be true, I'm going to be putting in a request to be transfered to a different department of my choice, or find a different job altogether, because having just 5 people on a team is obviously not enough

And what happens if more than one person calls in? What are the TLs and management gonna do then?

I honestly feel this change is only because the company is too cheap and idiotic to hire more people for Cap 2 and any other department that's seriously short-staffed...

But wtf do I know? I'm just a Cap 2 associate with a 30 cent raise to my name... Lmfao
