I know it's my own fault but... (capped PPTO)
Post Body

so i have the bad habit of calling off and using PPTO on the first day i wake up not feeling well or needing more sleep as soon as i've reached the 8 hour mark. gets me a personal / mental health day every 6 weeks or so, took advantage of it and it definitely helps me feel better and manage my stress along with everything else i do outside of walmart.

so i'm checking the schedule and my balance every day after i clock in just to see the number slowly increase so i know i have that safety option there at 8 hours. well it's been stopped at 5 hours for a few weeks now and as far as i know they never mentioned any sort of yearly PPTO cap. i've read it before here several times but never saw that information conveyed outside of reddit comments.

but i dislike the the fact that it's so front loaded and basically means nobody will gain any PPTO during the entire holiday season (that's probably their point though lol)

does the earning cycle start again on january 1st or on walmart week 1?

and this isn't meant to be an angry post or being upset that i can't cheat the system, just an observation. (for what it's worth i have 0 points, need the money too much to call off without having PPTO so i kept it as a personal goal) i feel like i would rather have it be earned more slowly so that the 48 hours are spread out throughout the entire year but i can understand people wanting to have more of it available early.
