Employee Language Question
Post Body

Hi! I went to my local Walmart today & couldnā€™t find something. So I went up to an associate to ask where to find it & he said ā€œI donā€™t speak Englishā€ & he called someone over who spoke English to explain.

Iā€™m not complaining in any way shape or form & im happy that that man was able to get a job without language as a barrier.

It made me wonder though as Iā€™ve never worked for Walmart before. Is there some initiative or is it common to hire non English speakers at your stores?

Again, no hate at all, Iā€™m just curious cause in 33 years this the first time Iā€™ve ever seen someone working anywhere who doesnā€™t speak any English.
