Short 2500 UVXY at 30.72. Entered today on the basis of declining VIX as SPY bounced off the 20-day and held it. It's a shit entry, could have done better but I'll take it. Not going to sugarcoat this, it's a risky trade. Two events on the horizon - Trump's first week and FOMC in February mean I'll probably have to exit the trade within a couple weeks. But even with that, I'm betting my gain will be larger than that super-long UVXY trade just hoping VIX pops enough for a profit. Let's see fs actually post an exit and see how much he makes and loses and I'll do the same.
Two rules: 1. Post your exit(s) within 24 hours with proof and I'll post mine. 2. Once both sides have exited the position completely the duel ends.
Best percent gain on the entire trade wins. Hold as long as you want to make the gain, but once you're out you're out. If I lose, mods do with me what you will and I will perform seppuku. If fs loses, he owes me a shitty youtube video.

UPDATE 1 (1/19/2017): Today I sold covered puts at a 30.50 strike expiring tomorrow. At the money options work well for this for the largest theta. Didn't much care for the spike today, but still doesn't look like it's going to go much in either direction. Since I hate holding short over a weekend unless I have a nice enough cushion in profits, I might end up out of this with a measly gain of 0.7%, not counting options premium collected (sold some 28.5P yesterday which I closed out for some extra profit, but I'm not counting options plays in this little duel). TL;DR good chance I'm out tomorrow afternoon at 30.50
UPDATE 2 (1/20/2017): Successfully rolled out my short puts to next week 29P to at least lock in gains to 29 or collect some premium if we go back up. See you next week mofos!
