Listen folks. Today is going to be red but let's find the green where we can. There is another player out there that also does cybersecurity.
Palo Alto Networks. They are a seasoned player in the cybersecurity landscape that has had a bad few couple quarters.
On February 21st their shares (PANW) plunged 28.44% that day on reduced revenues and lowered guidance.
The next quarter around May they missed their quarter again. The stock tumbled. Since then they have recovered a bit.
Their CEO Nikesh Arora has been on Cramer pleading the case that billing payments will pick up.
Well, after today folks I assure you Palo Alto's phones are ringing off the hooks.
In the very least one would have to save fast of the CrowdStrike debacle by saying hey let's see that Palo product again.
If Crwd doesn't recover Palo is the clear front runner. There aren't many places to go.
Yes cloud providers provide these services but Crwd and Palo are best of class. Crwd not so much these days.
Bonus: make no mistake. Disaster recovery is also a great play. You know who does that?
Veritas and Vertiv.
Pay attention to this next part. Veritas Technologies is privately held by the Carlyle Group (CG).
Vertiv is publically traded as VRT.
Today the V's and CG's could be goid plays.
I own crowdsrike. Or I did and VRT. Looking to pick up some CG and Palo Alto.
