Seems like everyone just talks about p/e ratio. That is usually a metric only newbies rely on.
It not totally useless as it can be a great way to seach and screen stocks.
However book value and sales is actually a much more accurate metric to use.
If a company has assets and sales it basically a great target because it easy to convert earnings off of assets and sales in the long run.
Trying to find a low p/e with book value and assets is a unicorn.
I have most low p/e stocks tend to companies with declining sales and rely on sales of assets.
