With the feds pausing rate hikes and promising cuts in 2024, how possible is it that housing-related markets will rise next year?
Now I’m by no means an analyst or well-versed in stock movement patterns. However, I’m sure home owners and buyers love rate cuts. Lower mortgage rates, more affordable housing prices, and more flexibility to conduct housing improvements such as solar retrofits. There’s definitely an appeal for the housing market.
Now provided the feds stay with their forecast and only pause or cut rates; this should spell out a promising 2024 for the market. Of course, this is all speculation based off of yesterday’s announcement and from my observations. Still, the current forecast seems to hold an early promise for the housing-related market.
