I have about $2,500 in stocks and ETFs in a Fidelity Investments account. About two weeks ago my ability to log into my account was blocked and said I needed to call them. I waited on hold for over an hour. Which actually, every time I call Fidelity I wait on hold over an hour. They told me to fax a copy of my state ID and a copy of a utility bill to them to prove I live at the address I provided. This was over ten days ago. They said the faxed copy of my ID was too dark so I faxed it again. Then they said it was still too dark. I asked if there was a way I could just email a picture or upload a picture of my ID and they said that method "isn't secure". They won't even let me transfer my stocks and money to another brokerage account. The customer service people are horribly rude and to this day two weeks later I haven't even gotten a reason why my account was blocked.
Fidelity is the worst for customer service!
Has anyone else had this problem with them?
