Hello everyone, I just started playing this game on Friday, and played it through a lot of the weekend.

I'm just wondering some basic things like the best mechs to buy, the best guns to buy, etc...

First thing I did is save up all the gold to get the 4th mech slot. That looked like a good purchase. And I just bought the Natasha.

my current loadout is

  • Punisher Mk2 (3)

I like the combo of nashorn and molot for that medium-long range direct fire. What things should I work on leveling up? What gives the best bang-for-the-buck?

Lastly, is it possible to do well in this game without spending money on it? Currency seems to come pretty quickly early on, but not sure how that changes later. Also, the prices are pretty ridiculous. It would cost $40 to unlock the 5th mech slot, this game is fun, but it's not worth that much.
