A positive rant:
Three weeks ago I struggled to get 2k steps in a day due to a shitty mindset and what I felt was an unforgiving schedule. Reflected on 2023 and how I gained (more) weight and got sick three times, and decided it was time to change. Someone I follow on social media was promoting their 5 week StepBet challenge and on a whim, I coughed up my $40 and signed up.
Holy guacamole, ladies and gents. Now I get DISAPPOINTED when it’s raining and I can’t walk as long as I’d like to. Now I’m seeing cool stuff that I’d surely miss if I was just on my phone in my office. I feel amazing. Bonding better with my dog and my fitness brained husband. Today’s the start of week 3 of the 5 and I am so pumped and happy to be here. Thanks for looking.
