I guess I'll introduce myself first. DH and I have been together for 6 years. We finally started talking about trying last month and decided to give it a go in November of 2015. We have some credit card debit that we wanted to pay down before trying. We decided that we would start trying in November knowing that it could take awhile. Well after thinking about it more and decided that it is probably more responsible to wait to try until next summer. We are both kind of saddened by this but know that it is the more financially responsible thing to do. One of the credit cards will be completely paid off and a decent chunk of the other will be paid by then, whereas in November, only one will be mostly paid off. I am also currently looking for a better paying job so that we can become more stable. We are in need of a new and safer car as well.

So we pushed our date back from November 2015 to June/July of 2016. We realized that it is the better choice in the long run. We can't go by what we want we need to go by what we can afford. Also realizing that we were being pressured by family to start now and not really realizing that we aren't in the right place as of now.

We both decided that we would feel more comfortable pushing it back a few months. As sad as it might be, it is what's best for us at the moment. If I get a better paying job though, things may change but for now, this is the plan.
