For mods: Happy to create a [r/waitBLRwhy](r/waitBLRwhy/comments/ed09b7/digital_social_experiment_inspired_by/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) and carry this out there, or if you deem this good for this sub, happy to continue here.

How is this relevant to r/Bangalore ? Please find three Paras later.

To start with, I'll need to guage the relevance and accordingly keep editing my post to make is as relevant as I possibly can or ditch this experiment altogether.

To achieve that, I'd request each one of you reading this to upvote this post if we know/heard of Tim Urban or the blog he writes @ WaitButWhy.com and Downvote if you haven't. Please understand it's important for this experiment that you do either, please.

Adhering to Rule no 1 on this sub - keeping this Bangalore! This experiment after a point will require me to meet people and take it forward. I mean, possible to carry out on the internet as well, but meeting works better I suppose. Hence, this sub becomes relevant.

I've committed to running this experiment only and only because of this belief: At a point in our times, where more people around me than ever, can't seem to understand what the frick is going on in our societies (Left, Right, Unity, Diversity, Unrest, Protests, Agitation, Oppression, Governments, Oppositions, Impeachments), I really strongly believe, there's gotta be something that's seemingly irrelevant but a perfect antidote to all the chaos from inside our heads and a majority of us would relate to, relevance. And this particular piece seems to be the best I've ever found for this purpose.

So for now, that's about it. If this post works and gets to a point where relevance becomes evident, the new sub I mentioned at the top of this post will have a bigger meaning. I'll mention again, I'll only realise the relevance if you Upvote or Downvote instead of scrolling past. I'm seeking a little but worthy attention I swear.

First I'd particularly like to welcome criticism of this post and the experiment essentially.

And of course, suggestions too.

TIA
