I just purchased a 2009 Golf 90Tsi and from my understanding has not had any aftermarket modification. The radio does not have navigational capabilities, but I am able to turn on and off the bluetooth function. However when it does not show up on my iPhone bluetooth options.

I’ve done abit if research and people keep talking about unplugging and replugging a connection to a Styrofoam box under the drivers seat. I’ve had a good search under all seats and cant find a Styrofoam box.

Would this mean my car simply is not bluetooth compatible?

Any help would be appreciated!
