Has anyone developed vulvodynia after a different nerve-related issue in the lower half of the body?
Post Body

I've had symptoms of vaginismus for over a decade now and have gone through PT and other treatments, and recently was diagnosed with vulvodynia. Some of the symptoms are new (redness and external touch sensitivity) but I have also been suffering from piriformis syndrome terribly for the past 2 years (flared up the worst it's ever been this past October and has remained bad since). It's a nerve problem that causes burning like sciatica down my leg, buttock, and hip, and also recently in the groin area. This vulvodynia pain seems to have gotten worse recently too. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with lower back or hip/butt issues and then developed vulvodynia after. My nerves in my pelvic floor seem to just be enraged and wanting to cause havoc everywhere :/
