I found a very fresh opposum. (Im located in Illinois) I brought him home and I think itd be really cool to actually mount him since hes pretty unharmed and decently fresh. (Hes stiff but he has no smell, and as you can see the blood was still wet) The only issues are, I dont have a freezer I can put him in, I have no experience mounting and I dont feel thats something I can do myself. Any recommendations for how I can keep him? I may be able to salt his paws and tail, (I dont have borax) so I can make a rabbit paw type thing with his paws/tail. But if I macerate the rest of his body and animate his skeleton then I wouldnt want to do that. What would you guys do?
