Just trying to wrap my mind around a circumstance where youâd use one attribute over the other in a social combat situation.
If a character had a Charisma Intimidation as a focus, what are situations that would be used in play?
So itâs more about the delivery and âflavourâ of the exchange.
My son interpreted it like this scenario: getting past the bouncers into a nightclub. A charisma intimidation would be just walking past them and maybe giving them a look. Manipulation would be âyouâre going to let me in because if you donâtâŚâ
This was very thorough and demonstrates the flexibility of the system very well. Thanks for taking the time to write it all out!

So you could block a bridge by standing in front of it and anyone approaching youâd hit them with Charisma Intimidation.
OrâŚ
You could stand at that same bridge and tell anyone who approaches that youâll kill anyone who tries to pass you, then roll Manipulation Intimidation.
OrâŚ
Pry a door off a nearby car and fling it away over the edge and roll Strength ( Prowess) Intimidation.
You simply play to your personal strengths and that stylizes the form intimidation takes?
