So I’ve had some confusion among my current table in regards to how diablerie functions within the system. If I’m reading the core rulebook correctly there is no official stated rule that if someone was to diablerize a higher generation (ie a 10th generation diablerizing a 9th generation) and then becoming a 9th gen. If I’m reading correctly it also mentions that if someone was to diablerize a lower generation (ie a 10th generation diablerizing a 11th generation) it would lower them to also be an 11th gen.

Have I read and interpreted this correctly? I’m just wanting to make sure that I’m making the right calls for my table and not screwing them over unnecessarily.
