How many meters/feet of wires are really needed.
Post Body

The BOM is calling for 250ft of 24AWG wires, are this length really needed? I have about 80ft of 22AWG left from another project. My guts told me that should be enough for the build, but still want some confirmation. Thanks.

EDIT: I am building a 300m voron 2.4, and WAIT, that 250ft quote is for single wire length? So to extend a motor for 1m that requires 1m x 4 wires?

If that's the case my measure of 80ft is already the 4 -stranded motor wire, so 4*80 that seems enough.

I was trying to figure this out so I could make a harness while I waited for parts. If you think about the routing, you need enough length to go 4xFrameLength (5-10%). You need to basically go from the front top left all the way to the front bottom left. It is also easier to cut extra wire than to splice shorter wires. I used about 200ft in my 250mm build.
