So, 3 or 4 years ago I watched Haikyū (a volleyball anime in case you don't know) and I've been dying to be in an actual team, go to trainings and take part in matches. Unfortunately, all the teams are either for kids up to the age of 14 or for adults who are also, only for men (I'm a girl). I tried joining my school team but the coach had already chosen players and denied anyone new..

At this point, I really don't know what to do. I don't know if I should be patient and wait until I go to university where I can possibly join a team or.. just give up and idk.. play with friends? If anyone could give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it!
