Cuba has emerged over the years winning some NORCECA tourneys, Copa America tourneys, and made some noise in major international tournaments.

Many rostered players are on club teams in premier leagues who have won titles, mvps, and other accolades.

The worst part of it all… while Cuba has been clawing their way up to the top 10 in the world, Leal of Brazil and Leon of Poland are Cuban nationals playing for different countries.

Given Cuba’s standing with international competition and citizenship laws, it’s understandable why these two left.

BUT… imagine how good Cuba would be if they still these two outsides stay with their country of origin. I think the championships over the last 5 years are drastically different.
