issues involving voice switching after tab outs

Hi, I've been using VM for a while now, and recently I have been encountering an issue where I will load a voice and tab out, but when I come back to switch, it sticks to the same voice, all other buttons work fine, but voices and hotkeys for voices refuse to work, any help would be great!
