Trying to access disks attached to esxi host via perc h310 in IT mode

Post Body

Howdy all. I just recently upgrade my server to one with 8 x 1tb SSD SATA drives.

with that as well i added an LSI h310 (whatever the lsi varient is of the dell perc h310)

i had the card flashed to IT mode so that the disks would be available to the ESXI host as datastores.

My goal is to use the 8 1tb drives as induvidual datastores and i don't have any plans to raid them. i have a VEEAM server setup handling backups so redundancy isn't an issue.

when i go into my ESXI host it shows the card under devices but none of the disks will show up.

Is there a solution to allow the card to pass those drives to ESXI?

i'm currently on esxi 7.0 Update 3

also, is there specific drivers i should be using instead of the the ones listed here?

thanks!
