Can't find my built-in mic in Resolume

Tried posting on their forum but the registration question got the best of me lol Which version of our software supports DMX? - no idea im a newb
So I'm trying to use my built-in mic as an external audio FFT input. I'm in preferences and it's not coming up as an option under the external audio fft input drop-down menu.
Anyone had this issue? I'm using windows 10
