Would you take your V to the vet for this cracked nail?

First things first he hurt this same nail about 6 months ago and had it cut to the base and wrapped. It’s almost regrown completely without any problems until yesterday when he cracked it again. There was some slight blood that I was able to control pretty quickly after using antimicrobial spray and syptic powder. Since then I’ve been cleaning the nail with spray. He lets me handle his paw without much pulling or kickback. His energy is the exact same, walking around & wanting go for walks. I will occasionally catch him licking which I then put on a cone. I also have some spare pain killers from the last vet visit but I haven’t used them. Please help, should I take him to the vet or continue to clean it and let it heal on its own?

Im gonna take a guess and say this stuff is called by a name brand of Hibiclens. Same thing they tell you to use on your flesh bag before surgery. Contains something called Chlorhexadine gluconate?

Please, anyone correct me if I'm wrong
