Right stick on my OLED model is drifting downwards even after replacing the stick.

Hey, I'm really desperate for help on this one so any ideas would be so appreciated. Today, I got my replacement analog stick in and when I replaced it, the problem was still just as persistent. I'm not really sure if I did something wrong?

I connected everything back up and I know it's not the stick itself because I swapped it out with the left stick temporarily. Both sticks when on the right side drift downwards like this. When they are on the left side, they both work fine though. Any help would be really appreciated, I've been stressed all day about losing my precious Vita.
