I've purchased a slim PSVITA which was perceived to have a battery issue. I've successfully replaced it and the vita itself will function as long as it's plugged in. Removing the charger instantly switches it off and makes it unbootable.
My question is that could this issue be down to JUST the motherboard being faulty or if someone else had the same issue along the lines.
EDIT: A few days after the battery replacement, the console appears to function normally and no longer requires the time and date after launch.
EDIT2: Went back to the same state as of testing it (rebooting when attemping to switch it on)
