Broken Screen. What to do next?

So I woke up this morning after falling asleep playing my vita. I found it on the floor and hoped for the best, but no luck. The screen is broken, but still shows an image. Its broken primarily on the right side next to the button pad. I don't know what to do next, so what do I do? Do I buy a new one or send it in for repairs?
