I finally took u/DarknessInferno7's advice and created a VNDB account, and even managed start/end dates for almost all of my VN history (only three are rough estimates).
But I've been debating on my VN votes (the empty data field on my list does bother me a little), and while I know you don't have to do it, I am curious how people approach it. Like, do you try to be objective and vote based on the true quality of the story/polish/etc.? Or do you "vote with your heart"/base it on how you feel about the VN or how much you liked it? Do you reserve 10s for the best of the best, or do you freely give them to your absolute favorites? Or maybe those two tend to coincide. Heck, maybe some choose to vote just to remember how much they actually liked the VN and use as an "is this worth a reread?" scale. That could also be possible.
You get the idea. I'm just curious to see people's thoughts.
