This patch adds all the voices, sprites, backgrounds, CGs, and effects from the PS3 version of Higurashi to MangaGamers's re-release of Minagoroshi. This release is feature-complete, with all the bells and whistles we've added over the years like ADV mode, lipsync, opening movies, support for MG sprites, etc. And we managed to get it all done in record time thanks to some crazy dedicated team members. There is also a voice-only patch for anyone who prefers the old art.

Follow the instructions here to get it set up. The automated installer streamlines the process and it works on all operating systems, so it's the recommended way to set it up. The patch will work with the Steam version, the GOG version, or the version directly from MangaGamer's website.

And we're still working on adding more features to the patches in the future. Some of the more ambitious ones include the ability to toggle between 3 art styles so we can include the Ryukishi sprites, and adding the ability to select from multiple different soundtracks including the original PC version and PS3 version (and possibly the old MG version and anime soundtrack too). Look forward to that... eventually.
