Tsukiotoshi is now the third arc from the PS3 version of Higurashi to get an English fan translation. This arc originated on the PS2 version back in 2007. It's an alternate version of Ch. 3 Tatarigoroshi, so you can read it after finishing Tatari (but it does reveal some plot details, so if you're wary of spoilers you may want to wait until after Tsumihoroboshi). This release includes all three currently translated arcs. There's a flowchart that explains where all these arcs fit in.

This release requires a copy of Ch. 4 Himatsubushi. Either the steam version or the DRM-free version from MangaGamer's website will work. You can grab the new release from the Higurashi Console Arcs project page. There's now a single automated installer that handles the voice/graphics patches for the main series, as well as the console arcs.

Several improvements come along with the new release. All sprites have been bumped up to 1440p. All three arcs now support lip-sync (the characters mouths move in sync with their voices). Make sure you're using the "original" sprites option to use it, and press 7 to toggle lip-sync on/off. And there are a bunch of editing and graphical fixes in the 2 earlier arcs, as well.
