Someutsushi is one of the arcs from the PS3 version of Higurashi. There are 10 arcs in the PS3 version that were never released on PC, so they are unlikely to ever get a proper English translation. I've started a project to translate these arcs and port them to MangaGamer's new PC version of Higurashi. Someutsushi is the first of these, and hopefully the rest will come in the future.

Someutsushi tells the story of Natsumi Kimiyoshi, who moved away from Hinamizawa a year ago. Unlike most arcs, it's set entirely after the Watanagashi festival. It's intended to be read after you've finished Chapter 3 Tatarigoroshi.

Installation requires a copy of the Steam/MangaGamer version of Higurashi Ch4 Himatsubushi. Download links and installation instructions can be found on the Higurashi Console Arcs project page on GitHub.

I've never translated anything before, so the translation quality isn't perfect. If anyone is interested in contributing, I'd really appreciate it! I'd like to get a more experienced translator working on the remaining arcs, or fixing any issues in the existing translation. It would also be nice to have an editor.
