Sometimes you read a visual novel and you come across something that you find irritating, like a common cliche or an artistic choice that isn't necessarily enough to put you off the whole game, but you would much rather do without. What are some pet peeves that you have when it comes to VNs? Be as general or specific as you like.

As for me some minor irritations include:

• suddenly changing from one character's pov to another within the same scene

• when the sprites and cgs are clearly drawn by different people (this is usually only a problem in free indie vns)

• the fact that no one ever uses birth control but no one gets pregnant (some vns do address this but theyre the minority)

• nsfw topic?
