My brother gave me his HP mixed reality headset with the controllers. I don't know the model name but it's the basic version with inside out tracking that was easily found for $150. Not the Reverb 1st or 2nd gen but the HP set before that. I got the controllers paired via bluetooth, but they wont show up in VR and the only thing i get is "Stare at the cube to use mouse and keyboard". I have tried restarting the controllers with them in front of my headset, repairing the controllers, as well as a hard reset on the controller (pressing the pairing and windows button on the controller). Any clue what I can do to fix this?
Side note: While attempting to pair the controllers via bluetooth, the controllers would often pulse for pairing then vibrate 3 times and keep a solid white led, but my PC either says "connecting" or tells me to try pairing again. The help guide does not signify what the triple vibrate into solid white means, only tells me a triple blink of leds means battery critical. I have replaced the batteries as well with this still continuing to happen, though eventually I can get them to pair
