Unless someone else announces something it seems Sony is our only hope, for the console gamers. For the PC gamers, I'm not sure.

One thing that concerns me about the VR by Sony is that it will just turn out to be like the Move or Kinect, they were both really hyped about but it just turned out to be a gimmick and they had no good games for it. If the VR has good dedicated games by well known developers, this could very well be the start of something.

Edit: Didn't know Valve was getting involved with VR. That will inevitably kick ass, thanks to Gaben.
