I want to create something ( it probaby has been done ) where two people can have sex with each other, while wearing VR headsets, but seeing eachother as avatars/characters. Let me emphasize this, this will be two people in the same room having actual sex. I am not looking for "VRPORN", I am not looking for a "VR SEXTOY", and when I look for this subject these are all I find so now I am here.

From my understanding I will need the following at LEAST;

1: TWO Headsets2: TWO Full tracking rigs ( I will have to figure how those actually work later )3: A "game" or software that enables this, think.. VR chat could do probably? Just the avatars wouldnt actually penetrate each other.. afaik. Maybe there could be a mod or a specific porn game? Who knows. This is more about my friends fantasies and helping them cope than anything else, if it's not perfect thats ok.

4: A pc powerful enough to run it/track us/etc?

5: Paying someone to make the actual models

So does anyone have any idea how I could actually get this project started? Also, would it be possible for me to NOT need a headset? I figured I would need one to also be a moving character, but Id like to see my partner, not their cartoon. At least not like, every time... maybe sometimes it could be fun.

Don't concern me with budget or costs, I just want to know what I need to do Ill work with pricing after the fact.

EDIT: I think I made a breakthrough that could be a lot easier and cheaper, with less technical related garbage.

A VR hentai movie, with POV of being on the receiving end of the action. It allows looking around, but the head position/camera will be locked so as to allow natural IRL guidance.

Then while my partner SEES the movie playing, and the character they want is doing things, it can be streamed to a nearby screen where all I have to do is enact it. That way I wouldn't even NEED any vr stuff for myself, and wouldn't even need any tracking except the headset itself!
