This is my first time on this subreddit. Not sure what to expect, so I'll be using a throwaway to explore what's out there. I'm a 24 year old bisexual man, college student, 5'8", 140lbs, lean athletic build, mixed race (half-White half-Asian), brown eyes, medium-length black hair parted down the middle.

I'm a virgin for a variety of factors. I had a sheltered religious upbringing, I struggled a lot with social anxiety when I was younger, I'm very introverted, I didn't fit in when I was in school, and I often feel like I just don't fit in to the "culture" of my hometown here in Des Moines so it's hard for me to find like-minded people. I just stick out like a sore thumb here, and even in social settings where I kinda fit in, there's barely any single people my age there. It's easy for me to find events I'm into and like-minded people when I travel, especially in big cities like Chicago or New York. I want to move badly, but the economy and current life circumstances are forcing me to stay put.

I've glowed up since then, I've been on self-improvement for almost a decade at this point. I've developed myself in a multitude of areas: My mind, my body, my finances, my spirituality, my appearance, my self-esteem, my career prospects, and more. It's only been in recent history that I've felt "ready" to date or lose my virginity, see what's out there and what kind of experience I can gain. Haven't had much luck on the dating apps. I get a lot of likes and matches, but no one sticks around or commits to any plan to meet up.

In terms of my hobbies and interests, I have a lot. My main ones are that I enjoy working out at home, I especially like weighted calisthenics. I'm into a lot of self-improvement or self-care related practices such as journaling, going to therapy, meditation, reading, skincare, and the like. I like martial arts too, but I'm currently taking a break. In terms of entertainment, I'm mostly into anime and manga, though I will play video games or watch movies every once in a while, and I listen to a lot of niche and underground music. I like traveling and going to concerts here and there.

In terms of what I can offer for you, what I lack in experience, I will make up for in enthusiasm. I care a lot about hygiene, consent and safe sex practices. If I can trust and grow comfortable around you, I'm a very sweet guy. I like being physically affectionate - like hugs, holding hands, cuddling, kissing. I also enjoy a deep conversation.

In terms of what I'm looking for, I'm looking for more of a casual connection, at least to start with. I would especially appreciate someone who's kind, patient, empathetic, respectful, and is willing to teach me the ropes (or if you're inexperienced too, learn with me). I live with family, so I unfortunately cannot host.

I'm okay with a man, woman, non-binary person, trans person, etc. I'm okay with any experience level and race, I'd prefer someone in their 20s, but I'm also open to someone in their 30s too. I'll probably want to meet first in public to establish mutual comfort and familiarity.

If you're a man, something you should know about me is that I'm a top. I would prefer to be with someone who's a vers/bottom. I'm almost exclusively into femboys, feminine guys in general, and twinks.

In terms of women, I'm not particularly picky. I'm especially into muscular and athletic women, but by no means is this a requirement. I'm totally cool with whatever style you have, whether that's traditionally feminine, tomboy, goth/emo, nerdy, etc.
