Hey Reddit,
I’m 36, a bit shy, and (deep breath) still a virgin. It’s not something I’ve been ashamed of—life just took its own path. But recently, I’ve felt ready to take a step forward and embrace this part of life I’ve been missing out on.
Growing up, I wasn’t the guy diving headfirst into relationships. While friends were dating, I was more focused on things that brought me joy, like gaming, long cycling trips, playing football. It’s not that I didn’t want to connect with people—I just didn’t know how to make it happen.
Fast forward to now: I’ve spent time working on myself, building confidence, and learning to enjoy life as it comes. I’ve embraced the things I love. But there’s one area I still want to explore: intimacy and connection with someone special.
I’m not here looking for pity or just a random fling (though if that’s your vibe, no judgment). I’d love for this to be meaningful—whether it’s a fun experience we both enjoy or the beginning of something more, I’m open.
If you’ve read this far, thanks for sticking with me. Feel free to ask me anything.
Life’s too short to sit on the sidelines forever. So here I am, ready to take a shot.
Cheers, M
