I (19F) have been lurking on the page for some time now and I want to be honest for a second. I don’t understand why being a virgin at any adult age is a bad thing or something to be embarrassed or ashamed of. I’m not asking this to be insensitive but because I am curious as to why? I myself am a virgin, my closest girl friends are all virgins too and then my other group of girl friends aren’t virgins and they talk about their sex life pretty often near me and they know im a virgin and they don’t care. I don’t feel shame or embarrassment about being a virgin, so I wonder why others do. Can someone explain?
