Was watching the last episode of Ted and felt pretty down through most of it (although it was pretty funny)
Post Body

Just a vent really. Big movie/tv show watcher and was finishing the Ted series earlier and the episode was all about John (young Mark Wahlberg in the films) trying to lose his virginity at 16. Most media has some form of sex or relationships, that's unavoidable, but I haven't come across anything where the main character is trying to get laid/fall in love for the first time in a while and this really hit home and made me feel so depressed.

I know it's a TV show (and a comedy with a talking teddy bear at that), but is it really that easy to find someone for most people? (Light spoilers ahead lol)

John literally just chases after a guy who steals his weed and tackles him to the ground. Girl he knows from school sees it and thinks it was cool and asks him out. And the conversation they had before that was instigated by her too. Like what the hell man.

Idk just got me thinking and made me feel a bit down that most people aren't like me and have been regularly dating and being in love with people for years, whilst I've spent nearly a decade not having any sex or any girlfriends. Anyone else relate?
