I know there are subreddits for different dating platforms but i just thought to speak my mind to others that are similar to me/used to be.

Due to a lack of confidence I hadn’t downloaded dating apps until around January this year when I was out drinking with mates and just thought ‘fuck it, why not’. I started properly using them in February and don’t get any likes on hinge, a like every so often on tinder and similar on bumble. This is mainly down to me not having great photos/prompts/bios or whatever mainly because I just never know what to write about or what kind of photos to take (due to lack of self confidence).

I’ve had a couple of conversations which seem to go well but either die out after a couple of messages or a few days. It gets to the point where you wonder what the point is and it becomes tiring swiping/liking knowing nothings really gonna come of it.

Anyone else experience the same sort of thing/feel the same way?
