I (19F) know that I'm a bit young to complain about it, but I'm European and everyone I know has lost their virginity already. It's common here that people lose it before age 17.
I've only made out with a guy once, so the thought of randomly hooking up with someone via clubbing or a dating app freaks me out bc I'll just embarrass myself with my lack of experience.
I wouldn't consider myself to be ugly, nor anti-social (despite my autism, most people just don't seem to pick up on it), I just never seemed to be able to maneuver myself into situations where I would've lost my V-card (or done anything else for that matter) and now it already feels too late when I compare myself to my peers.
I'm starting a new study in a very student-orientated city too, which means I'll most probably just be surrounded by people with far more experience than me. It's just super intimidating, which discourages me from even trying and even makes me consider accepting my possible fate of celibacy prematurely.
Would going on an r4r specifically for virgins be worth a shot or smth? If anyone has any experience with those pls lmk, at this point I just wanna get it over with :,) again I know I'm young as shit to complain about it already, but it's been messing with my head since age 16 (pretty common age to lose V-card here).
