How do I make the first move?

When I’m on a night out with a group of mates both male and female (know them through friends) I always seem to get along really well with women in the group or just at a club etc but never know how to go about making a move without seeming awkward/making the evening weird. Similar to my experiences on dating apps but the different is that it’s online instead of with the person in the moment.
