Hello, I've been playing violin throughout my former years, but took a break during college. I got really good at guitar, but now I realize how much of a perishable skill violin can be.
Anyway, I've been wanting to learn how to do some jazz improv and taking a new step away from my classical training. Does anyone have any recommendations on good books (theory and/or scale/etude books are welcomed).
My skill level was decent at my hiatus, I finished Wohlfhart, Kreutzer, Kreisler, and up to Suzuki 6 (probably butchered spelling). And I should probably dedicate a lot of time on those books again :(
