I currently don't have a teacher, so most of my issues that could have been solved by a teacher I've had to go about learning myself. I've watched many different tutorials and guides on ricochet, but none of them talk about how you set up the next ricochet.
My main concern is what muscles are used to set up the upbow. Is it more of a finger movement, wrist movement, arm movement, (I know it's going to be a combination of them, but which muscles initiate it).
Also, how do I practice increasing the speed? Doing it slowly is not an issue, and my ricochet sounds very clean when actually doing the ricochet, but I'm not fast enough at getting to the next ricochet, so I can't increase the speed without it becoming a mess.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
