The owner of this shop had me come in for 4 separate interviews over a span of a month, which was annoying as hell. All 4 of those meetings could have been wrapped up into a 30 minute interview. —-

The 4th meeting, was on a Monday. I thought I was going to go in to work, so I was ready to work that day. I walk in, and he hands me paperwork, and says that there’s no rush bringing it in (obviously this dude is in no rush) He then tells me to come in the end of the week and I can work 4 hours from 11-3 on Friday (stretching in to the 5th week) —-

So now I’m even a little more pissed at this, Mr.chill record store owner is making me come in repeatedly, and was vague as hell the entire time. —-

I go in on Friday, and the first thing he says “where’s the paper work?” I kind of chuckle, because this guy has been so slow and a disaster to work with already, that I thought he’s finally loosening up and being normal. Well no, he then tells me that he specifically told me to bring it in because I could not work there without turning it in first. —-

I said I could go get the tax paperwork, and I’ll be back in a few minutes. He said “no, don’t worry about it. Just bring it in tomorrow. Today isn’t a good day to start anyway” and the other guy working agreed and said “he probably did tell you wrong, he fucks things up all the time” no one laughed. So… okay, weird response. —-

I left stating “if I come back over this way today, I’ll drop it off” the owner said fine, because he would be leaving for the day anyway and won’t be there for the rest of the day. He was very adamant about leaving and not being present for the day. So okay, my new start day would be Saturday. —-

I ended up being busy that day and did not care to go back that way since this owner has been such a vague indecisive nightmare. He wasted so much of my time already, so I was in no rush. —-

Saturday comes, and I walk in with the paperwork, and this assholes response “You said you would be back yesterday, and I waited for you. This isn’t going to work out here for you. There’s been too many communication errors” —-

I quoted our conversation from the day before and asked him why he didn’t call me like an adult. He mumbled and just said he needed that paperwork yesterday for me to work there and now I couldn’t because I wasted his time. I responded with how ridiculous it is to have someone come in for 4 seperate interviews when it all could have been done in one, and that he’s miserable to deal with anyway. —-

They were a smug crew of vinyljerking snobs anyway, which isn’t really my crowd. —- Good riddance.
