Some friends have recommended Crimson King to me for a while, and said it was one of the best listening experiences of all time for them. So I waited to listen to it as I wanted to buy the vinyl version of it. Bought it a few days ago at local record store, got home, popped that sucker on the turntable…
Eh…. 21st Century Schizoid Man was pretty alright but the whole album is not that good. Maybe I have to get high? So the next night I listened to it high. Nope. Still doesn’t sound that good. Moonchild literally just feels like they recorded a fifth of a song, then proceeded to fuck around for the rest of the song. The album is like a 4/10 for me.
Anyways, I gave the record away to my friend today. I have no reason to have it in my collection if I don’t like it.
And before all the boomers in comments tell me that “I’m not listening to it right,” I don’t care I don’t like it
Edit: a lot of people aren’t liking that that I have an opinion in general lmao. It’s like I can’t please anyone
