Nearly a year after moving from a house to what can only very generously be called a studio apartment, I've come to the conclusion that my record collection is no longer viable. I've listened to maybe a dozen records in that time, and third shift means my usual listening hours and volume just won't work. With nearly my entire collection already on digital, it looks like it's time to move on, collect what I can, and finally upgrade that 2011-era desktop PC.
According to Discogs, my 500-ish album collection is valued at a low of ~$2600 up to a high of ~$13000. I'm well aware that it depends on the condition of the album and a multitude of other factors. But album for album, when I walk in with that first crate of albums, who is more likely to open their wallet for me?
