I dove in and bought a turntable today (Lenco B55 for anyone who's interested), along with a couple of albums. One album was used in not very great condition, and the other album is brand new. The brand new album is a set of 2, and a couple of the sides are noticeably not printed straight.
You can see the tone arm moving in and out, and you can hear the pitch go up and down. The hole seems to be centered in the vinyl as a whole, but it's not in the center of the music. Can ya dig?
Anyway, I've read about people enlarging the hole so you can manually center it, but I wonder if I should take it back to the store? Did I get a dud?
