Possible to get a refund without sending the item back? (no personal info)

Post Body
Recently I brought a pin board and it arrived wrapped in a damp towel with the cork board covered in mold. The seller had already taken down the listing but the image they used did show water damage on the wood but none on the board itself, and very much no mold. I obviously don't think it's appropriate to send an item in such condition back considering health risks, along with the fact that I've thrown it away. The seller has not responded to my refund ask so I'm not sure what to do.
