Hey guys,
I just bought my first sewing machine, a Singer 401G. I set the thread after watching a few videos on youtube and I can sew a straight stitch without a problem. But the other stitches 'built in' just come out in a crazy uneven zig zags and dont resemble any of the drawings inside. I tried almost all variations and the result is the same.
I noticed I dont have any plastic cam inside, and I didnt receive any accesories from the seller. Is a plastic cam needed for the stitches pictured on the plate?
The dials are moving properly, nothing is stuck.
Thanks
Edit: Solved, user error by me. Stitch lengh was set to big
